Lakin Anderson is a researcher and writer who lives in Stockholm. He writes and thinks about futures and anticipation, the Anthropocene and sustainability.
Lakin holds a PhD in Organisation Theory from Uppsala University’s Department of Business Studies. And a dual Masters in Sustainability Sciences from Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. His doctoral thesis focuses on the sociology of interdisciplinarity. Through ethnographic fieldwork studying climate and energy researchers in the field, it examines organisational, epistemological and personal tensions they encounter in producing “societally relevant” research.
